Full Description: Hylocereus Hybrid 'BRUNI' Is a Hylocereus stenopterus X Hylocereus undatus cross and along with 'CONNIE MAYER' and 'KATHY VON ARUMī both are sister crosses to this hybrid. All three were created by German Hybridizer Eckhard Meier, a cross of Hylocereus Undatus X H.stenopterus. H.'BRUNI' has an Med to lrg bloom with inner petals dark pink shading to
light pink edges and white tips. Outer petals dark
pink. Overlapping, funnel and saucer form. 3-
angled tall growth. A night bloomer (NOCTURNAL) like its sister crosses the blooms can stay open untill late morning 10 am-11am maybe even a little longer if overcast though. Growth is typical thick 3 sided growth, typical Hylocereus type growth. Hybridized by German Hybridizer Eckhard Meier, a cross of Hylocereus stenopterus X Hylocereus undatus. Reg. #12845
Although this variety is grown primarily for the colorfull blooms it produces, it can also have very tasty fruit all depending on the cross you use as a pollinator.
