Full Description: Echinopsis species Echinopsis backebergii var. winterana, previously classified as (LOBIVIA WRIGHTIANA VAR. WINTERANA) Has 2 to 3 inch diameter blooms in hot pink from late spring thru summer. Like a little part shade in summer but can grow in full sun by the coast. Semi-columar growth to 3 inch diameter,with curving thin spines and a dark body. Makes a nice vibrant flower show when in full bloom, same care as hybrid Echinopsis.
