| Full Description: Epidendrum 'RED'-Offered as 3qty cuttings 12" long, pre rooted will be sent if available.Epidendrums make great companion plants for Epis and Plumarias as there water requirements are the same but they do like bright light to bloom well. Also called (Reed Orchids) there the easiest to grow in the orchid family and take little if any care just good draining soil, one of the few orchids that can be directly planted in the ground.There easy to root just put straight into the soil, expect about one month before seeing activity as there a little slow to respond and may look dried out but like magic new growth starts popping from the main stem or from underneath the soil line. A single plant can turn into a mass in a few seasons. |
