Full Description: Epiphyllum Species Epiphyllum Floribundum- Origonally collected from Peru in the 90s, this is a extremely hard to find Species and it is in few collections worldwide. Its thought to possible be a Disocactus Macranthus hybrid cross, but no-one knows for sure. The blooms are light yellow inner petals and orange-red outer petals, day blooming, in fact blooms great! Very profusely several times a year. The blooms are small from 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" in a funnel form, usually blooms like most of the species at mid summer, and here and there at other times of the year. I included several pics since its such a small bloomer and i have so many and i have it in a very high location, i seem to almost always miss getting a good pic of it,and it usually has more yellow in it than the two pics showing it in the drinking glass, which show the form of the bloom well, but i neglected it and didnt change the soil until now or it would have more yellow color in it. The other pic shows the color it normally has if you pay it some attention, but it was a hot day and once again i didnt notice it and sort of faded on me by the time i did, but that pic shows its true color better. Growth is like a mini Hybrid Epi- flat basket very narrow thin stems not usually wider than the blooms.Sometimes multiple blooms from the aerioles, thats different !
