Full Description: Epiphyllum Species- Epiphyllum Oxypetalum has huge pure white night blooming flowers that are very fragrant. Most blooms stay open till noon the following day in part shade.Cut the bloom in evening and lasts a week or more inside a cup of water. Slightly fragrant at day but very fragrant in evening. The cut blooms will fill a kitchen or bathroon with a nice fragrance. Growth is unusual with very wide paper thick stems and canes or spiky growth. Roots easy! Bloom late spring thru summer as most species do. Very easy to grow same care as hybrids can be grown in a basket when young but as it matures a large upright floor container is best due to the rangy growth.
