Full Description: HARRISIA POMANESIS- Is a rare fruiting cactus with a nocturnal Med-large to a Large bloom, white with a green throat, the fruit is sweet and light pink to reddish exterior depending on ripeness, flesh is white, fruits are about the size of a kiwi. Very easy to grow it can handle full sun by the coast and needs a midday break by shading of a building or structure for inland locations, self polinating.
HARRISIA POMANESIS is an easy to grow rare fruiting cacti , seldom seen as its very rare,roots easily and blooms several times during warm months.
NOTES; Fruit can be sweet but needs to be perfectly ripe when picked. Wait too long and the fruit splits. Seeds inside are sort of crunchy. Sets fruits very easily on its own.
