Full Description: Species HELIOCEREUS SPECIOSUS VAR. SERRATUS Has a medium bloom in red with a purplish tinge,spiny tube. Growth is also spiny with many ribbed stems and is somewhat upright in form. Native to Mexico. The purplish floral-color in many epiphytic cactus hybrids is inherited from this species.
Theres also an albino form of H.Speciosus Var.'Amecamensis' with white petals, so although simular growth they should not be confused as there different varieties.
Note; the cuttings offered here were garden cultivated and were not collected from this plants native habitat range. |
