|Full Description: Hildewintera hybrid 'Humkes Kleine Gelbe' Has 2-1/4"+ inch diameter golden yellow colored blooms when first open then with a tan-pinkish overcast by 2nd day open. Inner petals are short golden colored in a rosette form. Outer petals are longer and narrow, radiating, golden-yellow with narrow striping in varying colors of pinkish to light tan-orange. Back petals are colored salmon to burnt orange. Stamens are pinkish to orange-salmon with magenta colored anthers, Stigma is yellow-cream colored.
A cross of Hildewintera aureispina X CHH Hessenland. Hybridized by Heinrich Humke.
Growth: Stem growth is fairly narrow averaging 1" to 1-1/4" in diameter, light to dark green with golden colored spines. Multi-ribbed, cylindrical type growth, pendant in growth form. This variety will begin to waterfall nicely once stem growth reaches 1' ft. or longer. Growth is also somewhat self branching.
Notes : Profuse bloomer.. Translated from German/Deutsche 'Humke's Kleine Gelbe' means "Humke's Small Business".
