Full Description: Hylocereus Hybrid-'KATHIE VAN ARUM' Has a Extra large bloom simular to CONNIE MAYER,but has deep pink edges and tips are pink to light pink. Outer petals
purple. Loose double, bell shaped form. Nocturnal blooming staying open until late morning the following day. This variety was also hybridized by German epiphytic cactus collector Eckhard Meier its a cross of H. undatus X H. stenopterus. Grown primarily for the blooms it produces, but it can also produce good sized tasty fruit depending on the cross.Growth is thick 3-sided but slightly more slender and lighter green than CONNIE MAYER'S growth and also needs a structure to climb.Easy to grow!Loves the heat!
