Full Description: 2 QT. Bag of size #1 Perlite-Use this straight in 4" pots to root cuttings for the growers who just cant help but overwater them. Will allow water to mostly drain straight thru, once roots form always repot to soil mix as perlite is inert and has zero nutrient values for the small forming plant. Also can be used in soil mix as a drainage aid. Dry and totally inert so not harmfull chemically in any way. But always store safely any garden supplies away from small children.
