Full Description: Species PFEIFFERA PARANGANIENSIS resembles Lepismium in growth form with stems narrow 3 angle and flat,basket type growth, blooms in trumpet form are xtra small & creamy white to white in color. Stems have spines which are longer than what might be found on most Lepismium species, not exactly hair like but a little thicker. A very unusual and rare plant, few in cultivation. Takes simular growing culture as hybrid Epiphyllums but can tolerate some full sun some locations.
Synonym(s): Acanthorhipsalis paranganiensis, Rhipsalis paranganiensis,Lepismium paranganiense & Pfeiffera paranganiensis.Native to the Bolivian area of Cochabamba in South America.
Note; The plants of cuttings offered here were garden cultivated from a very old stock/collections and were not removed from there native habitat. Offered as cuttings. |
