Full Description: SELENICEREUS GRANDIFLORUS-Has a large nocturnal bloom that opens at dusk and closes by late morning the following day. It has regal looking white inner petals with bronzy outer petals and a gold throat.long wolly tube like cotton fibers, Blooms from mid to late summer. Its native habitat is Jamaica and Cuba, growth is dark green to marron and has stems with many ribs, stem thickness varys from slender 1/2 inch to over 1" thick. Growth of stem segements can be long and short sausage like. Simular to S. Pteranthus in bloom but growth is more slender in S.Pteranthus and does not get the sausage like growth segments in the stems. Same care as hybrid Epiphyllums but needs brighter light and a few hours of morning or afternoon sun to bloom well, keep slightly on the dry side with water-easpecially in winter. Easy to grow! THE PLANTS OR CUTTINGS OFFERED HERE WERE GARDEN CULTIVATED AND NOT COLLECTED FROM NATIVE HABITAT.
