Full Description: Species Weberocereus glaber is a rare jungle cacti species with nocturnal white blooms. The blooms are small (About 2 to 3" in diameter or 5 to 8cm) nocturnal, white with lemon yellow back petals, several small hair like spines on the buds and flower tube.
The growth is narrow about 1" diameter on average, triangular and somewhat vineing so it can adapt easily to be trellised, also can be pendant and adapted to a hanging basket. If supported the vines can grow up to 20ft or more over several seasons. Rarely offered and in very few collections worldwide. Native to Guatemala (Central America).
Takes simular care as Hybrid Epiphyllums but can adapt to some part-day full sun by warm coasts. Fast grower in warm months semi-dormant in winter. Can not tolorate freezing (32 degrees or below) for any prolonged period of time. Grows best at 70 degrees to 100 degrees.
PLEASE NOTE; THE CUTTINGS OFFERED HERE WERE GARDEN CULTIVATED AND WERE NOT COLLECTED FROM THERE NATIVE HABITAT.
