Full Description: Species WEBEROCEREUS IMITANS A rarely found variety with a small white/green bloom,nocturnal, odd-smelling, bat-pollinated flowers. W. imitans (Kimn. & Hutch.) Buxb. 1956. syn.-(Werckleocereus iitans, Eccremocactus imitans, Cryptocereus imitans).
Native to Costa Rica. Stems flat, lobed as in Epiphyllum anguliger, with small spines. Flowers 6-7 cm long, 3-4 cm wide or 1-1/4" to 2" in diameter, base
is moderately spiny.Simular deeply lobed growth as Selenicereus anthonyanus and Epiphyllum anguliger, but thicker growth than Selenicereus Anthonyanus and has a bloom distinctly different from these 2 species.Very rare in Collections seldom seen. NOTE; THE PLANTS OR CUTTINGS OFFERED HERE WERE GARDEN CULTIVATED AND WERE NOT REMOVED FROM THERE NATIVE HABITAT. |
