DRAGON FRUIT (Hylocereus) Cocktail/Drink Recipes
(Alchoholic and Non-Alchoholic Drinks)
Dragon fruit Margaritas (serves 4)
6 oz Tequila
4 oz triple sec
1 medium sized ‘RED JIANA’ Dragon fruit.(mix separately and strain to remove seeds and excess pulp)
4 oz lime juice
1 oz Orange juice
Directions: Mix ingredients with ice in blender.
DRAGONTINI
(Red Dragon Fruit Martini)
Four cups of premium Vodka
Two tablespoons of sugar
One half Dragon Fruit CV ‘Zamorano’ or CV ‘Red Jiana’
Directions; Shaken or stirred then garnish with a white fleshed variety Dragon Fruit, try CV ‘Vietnemese White’ for contrast
Dragon fruit Greyhound (1-8oz glass)
1/2 medium sized ‘RED JIANA’ Dragon fruit, squeeze out the juice in a glass.
2oz Premium Vodka
1 to 2oz Ginger Ale
2 to 3oz Cranberry juice
Directions: Mix ingredients and pour over ice into glass.
Bacardi Red Dragon Rum (Yes Barcardi now makes this with Dragon Fruit!)
2oz Stoli Vodka
2oz Bacardi Dragon Berry Rum
1 to 2oz Ginger Ale
1 to 2oz Cranberry juice
Splash Pineapple juice
Fruit garnish
Directions: Mix ingredients and pour over ice into a hurricane glass, or a hallowed out pineapple, filled with ice.
Beefeater Dragon 24
2 tbsp Dragon fruit
1/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
1-1/4 oz ginger syrup
A few shakes of grapefruit bitters
2 oz Beefeater 24 gin
Directions: Stir or shake.
Angry Dragon Fruit Cocktail
Angry Dragon Fruit Cocktail(From The Grand Hotel, New York City)
2 tbsp. DragonFruit-Use CV 'VOODOO CHILD' or 'RED JIANA'
1 tbsp. yuzu
3/4 oz. jasmine syrup
1 oz. sake
1 oz. Ketel One Citroen
Directions; Muddle DragonFruit in a pint glass. Mix in yuzu, jasmine syrup, sake and Ketel One Citroen. Add ice, cover and shake. Pour into glass and garnish with DragonFruit.

1 oz. Dragon Fruit Syrup (To make the syrup is easy add a little water and sugar, boil in a pan, then strain) Try CV 'COSMIC CHARLIE' or CV 'AMERICAN BEAUTY'
1 oz. Pyrat Blanco (sub Cruzan Light)
1/4 oz. Fresh Lime
1/4 oz. Parfait Amour
dash St. Germain
Directions; Shake with crushed ice and strain into cocktail glass.
Dragon Cactus Wine Coolers (Makes 2 - 8oz glass)
1 Scoop of ice
1 medium sized ‘ Physical Graffiti’ Dragon fruit, (mix separately and strain to remove seeds and excess pulp).
1 Glass Chablis wine
1 Glass 7-up
Directions: Fill glass with the ingredients and stir well.
Red Dragon
3 strawberries
2 tbsp Premium vodka
1 tbsp strawberry liqueur
1 tbsp vanilla liqueur
ginger ale, for topping up
1 wedge of any Red Variety Dragon Fruit
Directions; Blend all ingredients with ice in a blender, pour into a cocktail glass, add ice cubes and top up with ginger ale. Garnish with a slice of Dragon Fruit.
Dragon Fruit DAIQUIRI
(To serve four cocktails)
Ingredients
250g frozen mango flesh
150g blood [red] dragon fruit
50ml fresh lime juice
45ml white rum
20ml peach schnapps
Directions; Blend frozen mango, 30ml lime juice, rum and schnapps. Then
pour in even quantities into glasses. Next
blend Dragon Fruit with the remainder of the lime juice.
Slowly pour the blended dragon onto the top of the mango already in the glasses.
Place straws into the glasses and serve.
( Non-Alchoholic Drinks )
Dragon Fruit Lemonade (Makes 1/2 Gallon)
16 oz Lemon Juice
3/4 Cup sugar
2 Large sized Dragon Fruit (pulp only) best with white fleshed varietys.
48 oz Water
Directions: Pour over ice or blend in a blender.
Dragon Fruit Ice Tea
Fill 8 oz glass or one cup with cold tea and ice
Add juice from ½ of one ‘Voodoo Child’ Dragon Fruit.
Dragon Fruit Smoothies(Makes 2-8oz glasses)
1 large Dragon Fruit (pulp only) any variety.
Add a few Strawberries, Kiwi, Bananas or any mixture you like.
6 oz Vanilla yogurt
1 Table spoon sugar
4 oz crushed ice
Directions: Mix all in a blender and serve ice cold.
Mattslandscapes Dragon fruit Punch
(Great for kids birthday party, get togethers or mixer etc. they love it!) This enough for 25-30 servings
1 litter 7-UP
1 litter Hawaiian Punch
1/2 gallon Sherbet (rainbow type) ice cream
1/2 gallon red or magenta variety Dragon Fruit Juice
Directions; Mix 7-UP, Hawaiian punch and Dragon fruit juice all together in a large punch bowl. Scoop sherbet ice cream in dallops and left float on top. Serve in large goblets with a few ice cubes in the bottom, fill glasses with punch and put one scoop of ice cream on top of each serving. Note; For an Adult type Alcoholic punch add some Premium Vodka for extra Dragon FIRE! Theres also many drinks now available at the local supermarket as there popularity and health benefits continue to be in demand
