Hildewintera hybrids in general take similar care as Echinopsis, although some like a mid-day shade break they do enjoy very bright light most of the day. Various cacti genus have been used to create many of the Hildewintera hybrid varieties, but all generally have similar traits: tight spination, long pendant-(most instances) stems with numerous vibrantly colored flowers along the stems and at there apex. Most of them have narrow stem growth that averages 1-1/2" in diameter.
